    Odysseus and his man visit The island of Lotus eaters where they grow a plant called Lotus. Some of Odysseus’s men eat the Lotus and decide they don’t want to leave the island. They just want to stay and eat more lotus. Odysseus obvious realizes this is a problem, so he drags them back to the ship and forces everyone to leave before they forget their journey. Odysseus keeps his men focused even when things are going wrong.

    I dont think he loss anything or technically gained anything. I think his men gained faith in odysseus. Although Odysseus semi gain something. He gained reassurance in his mens faith in him and getting home.

    Cyclops summary
    Odysseus and his men get trapped in a cave by a Cyclops who starts eating them. Odysseus tells the Cyclops his name is “Nobody” and gets him drunk. While its passed out they stab him in the eye to blind him. The next morning, they sneak out of the cave by hiding under the Cyclops sheep. When the cyclops calls for help he says “Nobody” is hurting him so no one comes to help. Odysseus and his men escape.

    The Trojan War was a battle between the Greeks and Troy. It began when Paris took Helen from Sparta. Her husband King Menelaus asked the Greeks for help. Many heroes like Odysseus joined. The war lasted ten years. One famous duel was between Achilles and Hector. In the end the Greeks built a wooden horse and left it outside Troy. The Trojans brought it inside unaware Greek soldiers were hidden. They came out opened the gates and the Greeks destroyed Troy winning the war.
