    Seemingly that China was not fit to be in the United Nations at the time, Taiwan took the opportunity to inhabit China's spot in the UN for over twenty years, but now that is not the case. Taiwan is a province of China, and when China was recognized as on of the permanent members of the United Nations, Taiwans spot was removed and replaced by the People Republic of China.     Some may think that the death of Mao Zedong would be the best thing that has happened for China but in reality, it left it in shambles for the time being. When Zedong died, it left China with no real central authority and eventually led to the splitting up of the Chinese Gang of Four. Although Zedong had passed, the new chairman would make it a point to keep all of the ideologies that Mao Zedong had.
