" Mamonas " , formerly called " Utopia " , was formed in Guarulhos, around 1990 . -
The first album
The first album was released on 23 June 1995 even though it had gone unnoticed in the day, the next day had played "Vira-Vira" on the radio , which made the Mamonas burst . It was the debut album that sold more in Brazil and also the biggest selling copies in a single day : 25,000 copies in the first 12 hours after the song has been performed .
