    As Malala grows up, the threats and violence that she will have to deal with have increased and have become more savage than before. Many children and people in Pakistan will have to face many challenges for peace in their country.

    Malala Yousafzai was born July 12th 1997. She is currently 19 years old (As of year 2017). She was born in Pakastain where life is not that great in comparison to the USA or Canada.

    Even today, Malala is young. However she started to public speak about women's rights at the age of 8. She made blogs and posts about her life and how school was an important factor in her life and in other girls lives too.

    The Taliban groups constantly had control over the schools and could permit some people and deny others. Girls were denied. Malala wrote in her blog she made that she did not think it was right. This was one of her first stands against the Taliban groups being exclusive and physical.

    Malala's popularity increased greatly. This made her more exposed as a person and she had an increased threat on her. On October the 9th, a Taliban man shot Malala on a bus on the way home from an exam. She was shot through her head, neck and finished at her shoulder.

    Everyone said she had no chance of living.

    Treatment
    Doctors and other medical staff immediately began to conduct surgery and fix the wound she now had in her body. She was transported all over the world for the best medical treatment and even had the honor of staying at Queen Elizabeth's hospital.
    There was very little chance of survival no matter how much treatment she received. She was in a coma and was not expected to make it out alive.

    Miracle

    Malala came out of her coma on October 17th 2012. People everywhere rejoiced. She responded well to her medical attention and was now said to recover properly. Brain damage was less than expected and she was in stable condition by the end of October and could move around in early November. On 3 January 2013, Yousafzai was discharged from the hospital. She underwent a five-hour long operation on 2 February to reconstruct her skull and restore her lost hearing and vision. This was a miracle!

    Malala made a book after her life changing occurrence. She was said that she would be paralyzed, she would be deaf, he would be blind, and she would have died when she had come out of her coma.
    Instead, she is back at school, has full function of speech, talks to celebrities and talk shows constantly and even created a book.

    On 10 October 2014, Yousafzai was announced as the co-recipient of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize for her struggle against the right of all children to education. She revived this prize at the age of 17, making her the youngest recipients ever.
