    Malala Yousafzai was born on the 12th of July in 1997 and today is 19 years old. She suffered multiple traumatizing moments throughout her life, but stayed strong nonetheless. Today, Malala continues to speak for women's rights to education.

    Malala would start to think more about women's rights, since her father who ran public school chains. Her dad had an IMMENSE influence on Malala. Once her brothers started to go to school, of course she was upset. Even when that happened her dad still stood up for her, and education. From these experiences Malala started to speak out to people, to allow girls to go to school.

    Before she won the peace prize in Pakistan, Malala was entered to be awarded the International Youth Peace Prize. She did not get picked for the award, so her country of Pakistan decided to grant her the first Pakistan Youth Peace Prize so as to thank her for all her hard work.

    After the award ceremony Malala was waiting on school bus to get dropped off to her home when a gunman came. This man was named Mullah Fazlullah who did not like her speaking out for rights for human education. One bullet from the top of her head through the neck, all the way down to Malala's shoulder. Truly it was a miracle she survived this terrible event.

    In 2014, a mere two years after being shot, Malala was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her brave actions. Malala had remained confident and peaceful even after being severely shot for standing up for women's rights, and she greatly deserved this award. She has won a number of other peace prizes in her lifetime along with the Nobel Peace Prize, all of which Malala was deeply grateful for.

    In 2015, Malala decided that enough was enough and that all girls needed some form of education as soon as possible. So, Malala planned and planned, and eventually with the help of many people, opened a school solely for girls in Syria. Now, Malala had reached one of her many goals; to create a source of education for girls in a place of need.

    Currently, Malala continues to inspire all people, and is still alive and well. She has sold approximately 2,000,000 copies of her book "I Am Malala" and has made millions of dollars from it, most of which has been generously donated. Malala Yousafzai will continue to change this world for the better as long as she is alive, and has already made a huge, positive impact on everyone.
