Charles Babbage
Charles Baggage (Born December 26th, 1791 London England. Died October 18th, 1871) an English mathematician, was the inventor of the first digital computer. In 1823, after working on his invention, he received government support for the creation and design of the new machine. This new digital computer was able to calculate and compute tables of numbers. This machine had a 20-decimal capacity and worked on discrete digits rather than smooth quantities.
