    Republicans,Abraham Lincoln, and Southern Democrats were the really known people/ party’s in the Lincoln election. A bunch of issues happened because of the election like the secession relationship of the feudal government, states, territories, and slavery abolition. The Lincoln election took place in the Nation Convention in Chicago. The election was a main reason for the American Civil War. The results of the election is the first Republican president being elected (Election of 1860).

    Four former governors, Abraham Lincoln, and slaves there were others too. The South Carolina Secede was caused because of the expansion of slavery growing into the territory that they got from Mexico.The South Carolina Secede was in Charleston South Carolina in the Insatiate Hall. It help start the outbreak of the Civil War. South Carolina became the very first state to be secede as a Federal Union. Lincoln called a state convention for voting to remove South Carolina from the Union (Secession).

The Union won the Civil war but the affects of the Civil War is The Emancipation of Proclamation.

They fought in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This ended the last big invasion for the Confederacy’s. It showed that Lee could be defeated. The Union won the battle of Gettysburg (Gettysburg).

    Lee was fighting the Union General Ulysses S. Grant when he surrendered. Lee surrendered because he didn’t want anymore destruction in the South that wasn’t needed. Lee surrendered at Appomattox Court House. The outcome is that the South didn’t get anymore destroyed then it already was but that means he lost (On This Day, Lee Surrenders at Appomattox).

    Lincoln got killed by John Wilkes Booth in a theatre in Washington. Booth thought that Lincoln was going to overtake the Constitution. Lincoln was killed by Booth in Washington D.C. in a theatre. After Lincoln died more damage were done in the North and South which made the north hate the south more (Abraham Lincoln’s Assassination).

    Thirteen confederation states were in the confederation form. The secedes states met in the Montgomery, Alabama to make a United government. They named in the Confederate States of America. The outcome is the British North America Act, and Canada’s Consitution (States Meet to Form Confederacy).
