The Invasion of Zululand
The Invasion of Zululand was the mark of the beginning of the war that took place at Rorke's Drift. Under the command of Lord Chelmsford, The Briitsh forces began carrying the general plan to invade Zululand. The main objective of this attack was to occupy the Zulu royal by attacking from three different directions.

Anglo-Zulu War
The Anglo-Zulu War was fought between the British Empire and the Zulu Kingdom of South Africa. Britsh wanted to control South Africa's diomand fields and control their labor. Cetshwayo defiance of an ultimatum led to an declaration of war on January 10, 1879. -
Battle of Isandlwana
Eleven days after the British invasion of Zululand in South Africa, this was the first major encounter in the Anglo-Zulu War. The Zulu army, a mass of 20,000 warriors attacked a portion of the British main column. Advancing in their horn formation, despite their poor weapon technolgoy, the Zulu Army took no prisoners in this battle. Waiting for the river to go down due to rain, Major Tucker commanded a hundred men protect the wagons filled with ammunition. With only 100 British troops protecting the convoy, a Zulu force of about 500 - 800 warriors attacked the British supply convoy. Battle of Kambula
The Battle of Kambula broke Cethswayo's power and Army. Considered the turning point of the war, the defeat against the Zulus began to weaken their army. Chelsmford was able to then make some progress and invade Ulundi.

Battle of Gingindlovu
Taken place right after the balle of Kambula, King Cetshwayo's 10,000 strong army was defeated and destroyed by British troops. Battle of Ulundi
The final battle of the Anglo-Zulu War took place at the Zulu capital of Ulundi.
