The Witches Prophecy

Jul 15, 1057

Act 1, Scene 3] Macbeth and Banquo meets the witches and they tell Macbeth about his future, how he is going to become Thane of Cawdor and King of Scotland. FIRST WITCH:
All hail, Macbeth! Hail to you, thane of Glamis!
SECOND WITCH
All hail, Macbeth! Hail to you, thane of Cawdor!
THIRD WITCH
All hail, Macbeth, the future king!

Lady Macbeth get involved

Jul 19, 1057

[Act 1, Scene 5] Lady Macbeth gets the letter from Macbeth and starts planning how to get all the power, the play shows her first traits of insanity.
Lady Macbeth:
''Come, you spirits that asist murderous thoughts, make me less like a woman and more like a man, and fill me from head to toe with deadly cruelty! Thicken my blood and clog up my veins so I won’t feel remorse, so that no human compassion can stop my evil plan or prevent me from accomplishing it!''

The King dies

Jul 27, 1057

[Act 2, Scene 1] In this scene the murder is now commited. Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth has gotten blood on their hands in this scene.

The new king is celebrated

Jul 31, 1057

[Act 3, Scene 1] Macbeth is now crowned king. The murder of Banquo and Fleance is planned
Macbeth:
''To be the king is nothing if I’m not safe as the king. I’m very afraid of Banquo. There’s something noble about him that makes me fear him. He’s willing to take risks, and his mind never stops working. He has the wisdom to act bravely but also safely. I’m not afraid of anyone but him. ''

Banquo's murder

Aug 4, 1057

[Act 3, Scene 3] The murderes tries to kill Banquo and Fleance, they manage to kill Banquo, but Fleance escapes so that the prophecy about Banquo's offspring can become kings.
Macbeth:
'' The adult snake lies in the ditch. The young snake that escaped will in time become poisonous and threatening, but for now he has no fangs.''

Banquo's reappearance

Aug 6, 1057

[Act 3, Scene 4] Banquo's ghost appears to Macbeth in the middle of a dinner celebration. This at first makes Macbeth freak out and seem insane, but he and Lady Macbeth manages to calm it down and call the night off.

The Apparitions Prophecies

Aug 8, 1057

[Act 4, Scene 1] This time the witches use apparitions to answer Macbeth's questions about the future. This relieves some pressure from Macbeth's shoulders, but makes him take some wrong decicions.

Lady Macbeth's breakdown

Aug 13, 1057

[Act 5, Scene 1] In this scene Lady Macbeth has her mental breakdown, she is having hallucination's. This is important since Macbeth is now on his own.

Birnam Wood comes to Dunsinane

Aug 14, 1057

[Act 5, Scene 4] The army has been ordered to pick up tree branches to hide behind, while walking to the castle, this makes the one of the prophecies that protected Macbeth disappear.

Macbeth dies, Malcolm becomes king of Scotland

Aug 15, 1057

Act 8, Scene] In this scene the end of the war is going on, Macduff tells Macbeth that he is not born of woman, so that he can kill him, they fight and Macduff wins.
In the end Malcolm becomes king of Scotland. I have based all my dates on the death of Mac Bethad mac Findlaích, King of Scotland also known as Macbeth.
