Shakespeare was born and brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon. His father was John Shakespeare, a glover and leather merchant and his mother was Mary Arden who was a landed local heiress. -

These years were known as 'The Lost Years' for the reason that nobody knew where Shakespeare was. People had thought he could've been dead, sailing, or running from the law. -

A cannon was shot off as sound effects to accompany an entrance of the King. A spark caught the thatched roof and flames broke out that were carried by the wind. The theatre had to be evacuated through it's two narrow doors and within 2 hours everything except for the foundations was a smoking ruin. -
