    Luther Goes to Law School at the University of Erfurt.

  • 1505

    Luther becomes a monk.

    Luther get's 'struck' by lightning and pleads for help from saint Anne. The storm eventually disperses, so Luther drops law school to be a monk.

    Professor of the University of Wittenberg.

    This is when Luther becomes a professor at the University of Wittenberg, he also studies here.
  • 1517

    Luther Posts the 95 thesis'

    This is when Luther preaches against the paying of indulgences, so he nails the 95 thesis to the door of Lutherstadt Wittenberg's Castle Church.
  • 1518

    Luther is charged with heresy in Rome.

    This is when Luther is wanted found, but he get's protection from Frederick the Wise.
  • 1521

    Luther is excommunicated.

    This is when Luther comes before the Council of Worms. He get's 'kidnapped' and during that time, he translated the New Testament from Greek to German.

    Luther sets off a series of theological and social reforms.

    Education for all, and also encourages musicians and poets to write music and hymns for church.

    Luther encouraged monks and nuns to leave their abbeys.

    This is where a nun, Katharina Von Bora, meets Luther.

    Luther Get's Married to Katharina Von Bora

    This is also when Luther hold's the first protestant service.
  • 1546

    Luther Dies. :\

    He is carried to Lutherstadt Wittenberg, where he is buried at the Castle Church.
