    The hubble telescope was deployed in orbit on April 25 1990. It was taken to space on the space shuttle Discovery. The missionn only took 5 days in duration.

    Hubble took pictures of the pillars of creations which is the eagle nebula. The pillars are made of gas and are 7,000 light years away from Earth. Gravity pulls clouds of dust inward and if there is enough gas there it can create a star.
