  • Lexington and Concord

    The Colonist were out watching one day and then spotted that 700 British soldiers. Paul Revere, William Dawes, Samuel Prescott warned the colonist and they prepared for the attack on Concord. In Lexington some British redcoats were passing a town and 70 minutemen were waiting then the the British commander told the minutemen to put down their guns and walk away and they all walked away with their muskets at hand and someone's went off and the British fired into the retreating colonist
  • Bunker Hill

    in Boston British general Thomas Gage decided to attach the militia of Breed’s hill. He sent 2,400 troops up the hill to attack them and the Colonist militia held fire on the British troops till the Redcoats retreated. The Colonist lost 450 men and the British lost over 1,000 people to them.

    the Declaration of Independence was finalized by Thomas jefferson. After being voted on and used America had to fight for their independence.
