    The Boston Tea Party was a protest of the American Colonies to the British of the taxation of tea which was called the Tea Act. The British punished the American Colonies for this protest by releasing the Coercive Acts. This is important because this would be one of the main events that will lead up to the Revolutionary War.

In 1787, the court sends Beethoven to Vienna because they found out that Beethoven isn't learning properly, so they sent Beethoven to Vienna to study with famous composers. A few weeks after Beethoven went to Vienna, his mother got very sick, so Beethoven had to go back to his hometown. This is an important event because Beethoven exceeds in his musical skill and this makes him sucessful.

    The French Revolution begins in 1789 and it ends in the late 1790s. This was a revolt against the French colonists and the French monarchy. The storming of Bastille is what starts the war. After the war with Austria, the national assembly decides to abolish the monarcy and make France a republic, and Louis XVI got killed. Robespierre is now in power and he ruled like a dictator. After Robespierre got killed, Napoleon becomes the ruler of France.

Beethoven wanted to study with famous composers. Haydn taught him piano and he wasn't Beethoven's only mentor. Antonio Salieri taught him vocal compostition and Johann Albrectsberger taught him counterpoint.

This is an important part of Beethoven's life when he becomes a famous piano virtuoso, it became easier for him to gather an audience when he became a composer.

    On March 26, 1827, Beethoven died at the age of 56. Beethoven's death was a big mystery because people didn't know how he died. There was an autopsy that showed that Beethoven died of a liver disease. The autopsy also showed a few clues to how Beethoven got deaf. Scientists found a part of Beethoven's skull and they found out that there were high levels of lead, which may have contributed to his death. Beethoven's music was greatly respected when he died.
