    French and Indian War

    This war between Britain and France ended up with the British winning and because they were in debt, they started demanding taxes and thus the civilization became less dependent on the British for Protection which was the British downfall.
  • Currency Act

    This act by the British Parliament banned Americans from printing their own money because it was harmful to the British trade thus banned them from issuing paper bills leading up to the what we call Patriots not feeling happy with the way they were being treated.
  • Period: to

    The American Revolution

    The American Revolution was a conflict that happened that happened between the British and the Americans causing them to split into two groups, one group being the Loyalists and the other group being the Patriots.
  • The Lobsterbacks

    British soldiers that were called the Lobster backs exchanged gunfire with the Matilda in at Lexington and concord Massachusetts which was the start of the American Revolution which led to the Loyalist Migration.
  • The Treaty of Paris

    It was a war of that the British colonists won and the people of Paris didn't like the way they were being treated so they started having a disagreement which led to the American Revolution.
  • Loyalist Migration

    After that this all led to the Loyalists fleeing Britain and going to Eastern Canada.
