    On orders to go on a rescue mission in the Pacific, the green hornet (the crews temporary plane) and another b-24 called Daisy Mae set out to search for survivors of a downed plane. On the way to the target area, Phil (the pilot) reported that engine No.1 was malfunctioning and they would have to crash land, of the survivors, Louie, Phil, and Mac (the tail gunner) survived. Mac would die of starvation on what they could only assume was day 33 of they're 47-day journey, before being captured.
