Lord of the Flies timeline.

Ralph finds a boy, he tells him a nickname that he doesn't want anyone to know. Piggy picked up a shell, called a conch, that symbolized order and law. Ralph blows it and all the boys on the island follow the sound. A kid named Jack and his choir boys join. All the children decide to chose a leader. Jack's boys vote for Jack, and everyone else votes for Ralph.

When Ralph is leader he picks 2 people to search the island, Ralph take a boy named Simon along with Jack to go. On their way back the run into a pig, Jack goes to kill it but can't.

Ralph calls another meeting where he tells the boys that whoever has the conch has the right to talk. Piggy is scared because there are no adults and nobody knows where they are. A little boy with a birth mark gets the conch and tells everyone that he saw a "snake like" monster. Everyone gets silent with fear, then the older boys try and tell them there is no beast. Ralph tells everyone that they need to build a fire on top of the mountain so passing ships could see them.

The boys get very excited and run to get wood and leafs, and Piggy complains about the work. They start the fire with Piggy's glasses but it gets smaller fast. Jack tells everyone that him and his hunters would watch the fire. The boys set part of the island on fire, then Piggy tells the boys that the boy with the birth mark has disappeared, the boys pretend like nothing happens.

Jack tries to go hunting, but he gets scared and goes back to the camp. When he gets back he sees Simon and Ralph building huts for the little boys. Ralph gets mad because nobody besides Simon is helping him. Ralph points out that Jack and his hunters haven't killed a pig yet, and that all the little boys are playing in the lagoon. Jack doesn't care about the problems Ralph has, all he thinks about is how to kill a pig. They both argue some more and then end up swimming in the lagoon.

The days become repetitive, each day its cool in the morning, then turns hot in the afternoon, and the cool again. They boys continue to have dreams about the beast. Roger and some of the other boys are very mean to the little boys. Roger and Maurice would stomp on their sand castles. Also, Roger would throw rocks at the boys, purposely missing them. Jack and his hunters cover them self in clay and go hunting. Ralph and Piggy see a ship, but they also see that Jack let the fire go out.

It was to late, the ship had passed before they could start up the fire again. The hunters came back and they were all cheering because thay had killed a pig. Ralph and Piggy got mad because they let the fire go. Piggy says something to Jack, so Jack ended up smacking him witch makes Piggy’s glasses fall off, causing them to break. Jack and Ralph get into an argument, and Jack ends up apologizing to Piggy. The boys cook the Pig and were getting ready to eat.

Ralph is walking on the beach thinking about his life. He thinks about how his hair is to long, so he calls a meeting to try and get the boys back together. Ralph talks about the lack of effort to build the huts, not getting drinking water to the huts, they don’t go to the bathroom in the correct place, and they don’t keep the fire going. Ralph, Piggy, and Jack try to tell the boys that there’s nothing to be afraid of.

At the meeting a little boy flames that he saw the beast. Everyone asks where it could be hiding, he says it could be hiding in the ocean. Jack says him and his hunters would go hunting to kill it. Piggy tells Ralph to call another meeting but then he says no because the boys might not listen to him.

SamnEaric fall asleep when they are watching the signal fire. Millatary planes flie over them, but the boys don’t see because the fire had gone out. A parachute falls down from the sky, gets tangled in some rocks, and it flaps in the wind. The twins wake up and get the fire going, they see the parachut and run back to the camp. As they get back the clam that the “monster” asulted them. Ralph called a meeting where everyone is scared, so everyone but the little boys and Piggy go hunt for it.

The boys find a part of the island they have never seen before, a pathway with many caves, Jack is to scared to go first so Ralph goes first, and everyone soon follows. The other boys start playing, Ralph tells them to go to the mountain and get the fire going again.

The boys are walking back to the other mountain, Ralph looks out at the ocean and thinks of it as a wall that is keeping them from being rescued. Jack spots pig droppings and suggest hunting, everyone agrees, they came across a pig. The pig gets away but the boys still chant as a boy named Roger plays the pig. The boys take it to far and poke him with sticks Robert gets away and suggests that they use a real pig, Jack says they should use a little boy.

Ralph tried to remind everyone it’s just a game. Simon volunteers to go back and tell Piggy they won’t be back until latter. Ralph, Roger, and Jack all climb the mountain. Jack goes ahead of them. He comes back down and claimed that he saw the monster. They all go back up and see a big shadow what looks like a big ape. They run back to camp.

All the boys are scared, because they heard the news of the monster. Piggy is shocked by this news. Jack blows into the conch, calling for and assembly. Jack says that Ralph needs to be taken down from power, but the other boys refuse. Jack runs off yelling that he’s leaving and if anyone wants to join him they can. Piggy is happy that Jack is gone and Simon wants to go looking for the monster again. Ralph gets depressed but Piggy cheats him up by saying they should build a new fire.

They go to move the fire but many of the boys go join Jacks group. Piggy says they are better off without them. Jacks hunters kill another pig and put its head on a stake and put it into the ground as an offering to the beast. Jack tells the boys that they are having a feast tonight and anyone is aloud to come. Simon goes into the forest and finds the big head. The pig head starts to “talk” and it says that it will always be with him, Simon ends up fainting.

Simon wakes up and stumbled to the mountain where he finds the parachutists. He untangles it and starts to walk back to the camp. Ralph and Piggy join Jack because they are hungry. Jack acts like a king there he invites everyone to join his tribe and most except. Everyone is dancing as they see Simon with the parachute come out of the forest. The boys kill him, not knowing it was Simon. The body drifts into the ocean, and all the all the boys run off when it starts to rain.

Piggy and Ralph go back to their camp ashamed, Piggy says it’s an accident, but Ralph says it was murder. The twins, Piggy, and Ralph are the only ones left in their tribe. Jacks tribe is a mess, boys are punished for no reason, and a boy named Willfrid is tied up and beaten. Jack says that they should raid the other camp for fire. Ralph lost hope in the signal fire and falls asleep. They are woken up by Jack taking the fire. They would have shared the fire if they would have asked.

Ralph’s tribe tries to start the fire but can’t so they go to the castle rock to reason. When they get there, there are guards with Roger on the top. Jack and some huntes come from the forest with a pig. Jack attacks Ralph, they fight, Ralph tries to make Jack see how important the fire is. Jack tells the boys to tie up Sam and Earic. Roger rolls a bolder down the mountain killing Piggy and shattering the shell. They make Sam and Earic join them, and Ralph runs away.

Ralph talks to SamnEaric, they give him food and tell him to run and hide. Ralph hides in the bushes, Jack and his hunters want to kill him. They roll a bolder down the mountain, it didn't kill him. Next they set the bushes on fire witch ends up setting the island on fire. A ship comes and rescues all the boys, because they saw the burning island. Ralph ends up staying alive and all the boys start crying.
