Miles is an unpopular, socially awkward guy who is transferring to boarding school that his dad and uncles had attended. His mom thinks he's popular and insisted on throwing him a going away party. Only 2 uninterested people showed up, making Miles even more eager about leaving. -
one hundred twenty-eight days before
His parents dropped him off at the boarding school (Culver Creek) which was in Alabama. He then met is roomate, Chip Martin who insisted on being called the Colonel. He told Miles that he was going to call him Pudge from then on. Miles was introduced to the hottest girl he has ever seen, Alaska, then discovering that the two of them smoke. Colonel told Miles about the Eagle and the story about Paul and Marya. He spent time talking to Alaska and she started talking about the Labyrinth. -
one hundred twinty-seven days before
Miles was introduced to Takumi and the Colonel explained his hatred towards the Weekday Warriors, even though his girlfriend , Sara is one of them. 3 guys captured him in the middle of the night, taped him up and threw him into the lake. the Colonel was mad when he found out what had happened. -
one hundred twenty-six days before
Miles has World Religions class with Dr. Hyde and seems to like it because of Dr. Hyde's teaching tecniques. -
one hundred twenty-two days before
The Colonel keeps vodka in his milk to keep alchohol hidden from the Eagle. We find out the reason why the Weekday Warriors dislike the Colonel is because they believe that he's the one that ratted Marya and Paul. The Colonel had a date with Sara, but they got into a fight and ended up not going. None of them are willing to break up with each other even though they never get along. -
one hundred ten days before
Miles got kicked out of class by Dr. Hyde for looking out the window during class. Alaska stood up for Miles and ended up getting kicked out of class as well. -
one hundred nine days before
They all go the the basketball game and the Colonel got kicked out for causing disturbance. Kevin tried to make a truce with the group but they didn't agree. -
one hundred eight days before
Dr. Hyde gave Miles a lecture after class about the time he looked out the window. He made it clear to Miles that he doesn't want that to happen again. -
one hundred one days before
Miles met Lara and Alaska took them and some other students to McDonalds to study. -
one hundred days before
Alaska explained the history behind her name. Her parents didn't know what to name her so they let her choose her own name on her seventh birthday. He said "sometimes I don't get you" (pg54) and she replies "You never get me. That;s the whole point." (pg54). This shows how hidden her life is. -
ninty-nine days before
Miles, the Colonel, Alaska and Takumi are going to go to Jury because they got caught smoking by the Eagle. -
ninty-eight days before
Miles doesn't seem to understand when Alaska and the Colonel took the blame when they were in Jury, claiming that Miles and Takumi were just keeping them company. -
eighty-four days before
Alaska is upset about something and we are quite uncertain what she's upset about. The truth she's hidding is still a mystery. -
eighty-nine days before
they planned to go on a triple date. The Colonel with Sara, Alaska and Jake and Miles with a girl named Lara. -
eighty-seven days before
they went to the basketball game as their triple date. The Colonel tried to get kicked out of another game, a player from the opposite team throws a ball trying to hit the Colonel. it hits Miles instead and he got a concussion and throws up on Lara. Sara and the Colonel broke up after getting into another fight. -
seventy-six days before
Alaska's room got flooded because of the Weekday Warriors. She was upset because all of her books were ruined. -
sixty-seven days before
Takumi told Miles about how Alaska was the one that ratted out Marya and Paul. She did it to protect herelf from getting expelled. Alaska took the blame at Jury to prove to them that they can trust her. -
fifty-eight days before
Alaska asked Miles to stay at Culver Creek for thanksgiving with her. When he was trying to find out why she doesn't go home for thanksgiving, all she said was "I'm just scared of ghosts Pudge. And home was full of them". I think it means that home reminds her of all the bad and terrifying things she's been through. -

Alaska and Miles started drinking as soon as everyone left campus. -

Miles and Alaska plan pranks to do next and they go to Kevin's room and notice the Weekday Warrior's love for their hair. -

Alaska and the Colonel plan a pre-prank on the Weekday Warrior and Kevin. They leave Miles out of this plan -

Takumi, Miles, Lara, Alaska and the Colonel were in a barn drinking. Alaska thought of a drinking game called Best/Worst day. They all take turn telling their best/worst day and the best story teller doesn't have to drink. At this point, we find out what Alaska has been hiding. -
last day
Kevin and the other Weekday Warrior got blue hair from the pre-prank. Miles and Lara got closer and their relationship becomes more serious. Later on, the Colonel, Miles and Alaska played truth or dare. Alaska and Miles expressed their love physically. They stop and she told him "to be continued". Alaska got a call and leaves campus. -

the Colonel, Miles, Takumi and Lara pull one last prank for Alaska which was a prank that she had planned. Miles and the Colonel didn't find their answer on how Alaska died, but they push through their difficulties to move on in life. -
After
Alaska had died in a tragic car accident. The Colonel and Miles try to find out whether it was suicide or an accident, but there is no specific answer. They felt that it was their fault because they were the one that let her go even though she was extreme drunk. She got in a car accident in attempt to go see her mother. They later find out that Takumi also feels guilty because he was the last person that talked to her.
