Already in June '88 , Soda recorded " Doble Vida " in New York with the artistic production of Carlos Alomar , who worked with guitarist John Lennon, Paul McCartney , Mick Jagger, David Bowie and James Brown , among others. -
Soda Stereo in USA
In 1989 , Soda exceeds the first million sold plates and faces his fifth tour of the American continent journey that culminates in December with two successful shows at the legendary The Palace , Los Angeles ; the door to the United States remains open. -
Historical Recital
The December 14, 1991 came the historical recital of Avenida 9 de Julio in Buenos Aires. Soda Stereo was shocked and surprised gathering two hundred fifty thousand people ( some say five hundred thousand ) to listen to the band in Buenos Aires , concert also was televised live . -
10 years on the route
It is in May '92 flying to Spain where they perform shows in Barcelona , Valencia , Seville and two concerts in Madrid. Rehearsals and concerts in this tour sound defined the direction that will dominate in the next stage.Several shows in Paraguay , Chile, Venezuela and a tour of 45 days in Mexico have them busy until April 1993. Since then the Soda Stereo , after more than 10 years on the route they decide to take away.
