    Jackie Joyner Kersee Writing
In third grade, for Affrican American History Month, we were assigned a person to research and write a story about. I was assigned Jackie Kersee. I learned many things about her, such as her many accomplishments in running and winning multiple gold, silver, and bronze metals at the Olympics in Track and Field. Looking back at this third grade assignment, I now find it very ironic because two years later I would join the track and field team.

    Princess X
Princess X was a book I became obssessed with in the 7th grade. I have read it at least four times since and it is the only book I have read that many times. At first the name threw me off, but then I read the description of the book and learned it was my favorite genre of book, mystery.
