Bedtime Stories
When I was about 6 years old my mother would read me a story before I went to bed almost every night. I would ask for the same stories all the time. It got to the point I knew some of them by heart. -
Charlotte's Web
When I was in 3rd grade we read Charlotte's Web together as a class. We would popcorn read and that made me nervous sometimes but I still really enjoyed the book. After we finished I remember being excited for the next book. -
Boring Books
In 4th grade I don't even remember the books we read because I was so bored the whole time. I just sat there dozing off while my teacher read to us. We did not even get to read ourselves. Originally this is what made me not like reading for a while. -
Short Grade 6
Although my 6th grade year was cut short I still remember 2 of the books we read in class. At the beginning of the year we read a book called Nine, Ten which was a story about 9/11 which I found interesting. The second book we read was Freak The Mighty which was my favorite out of the 2. We ended up watching the movie right before we left for Covid.
