an undersea cable running under the Atlantic Ocean used for telegraph communications,it occur in August 16,1858. Cyrus West Field and the Atlantic Telegraph Company were behind the construction of the first transatlantic telegraph cable. Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom to President of the United States James Buchanan. Foilhommerum Bay, Valentia Island in western Ireland to Heart's Content in eastern Newfoundland.Because it was the first telecomunnication that crossed between two continents. -

The Suez Canal, stretching 101 miles from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea, was officially openned on 17 November 1869. It created a more direct route for shipping between Europe and Asia. This made easier and cheaper to trade and transport needs. -

Marconi transmitted across the English Channel from Wimereux near Boulogne, France to South Foreland Lighthouse near Dover, England.It occur in 1899,England. On December 17, 1903 Orville made four brief flights at Kitty Hawk with their first powered aircraft. This was the first model of plane and the invention that made easier travel from one place to other in a shorter time than in car, train, ship... lalso was useful to travel between countries and continents. -
Amundsen expedition
Next ot his expedition in the Northwest pole he planned an expedition to the North pole but someone was first so we changed his plans to the South pole .It occur in 1911 the first time they started their trip and they came back in 1912,in the South Pole.,the ones involve where the teams of Amudsen and him,also with the support of Nansen.It was significant for the future explorers and also because his trip was wroten
