    The band had created a four-track demo CD entitled as "Xero", one of the band's former name. However, when the CD was introduced for a record deal, the band was rejected.
  • The Release of Hybrid Theory

    The Release of Hybrid Theory
    Hyrbid Theory was the band's first studio album under the name "Linkin Park", and was titled based on one of the original names thought for the band. The album proved to be a huge success, and would set the bar extremely high for the next coming albums in the future.
  • The Release of Reanimation

    The Release of Reanimation
    Reanimation was a sid project of the band that involved mutiple artists, one being Kutmasta Kurt. Instead of the traditional style of nu-metal and heavy metal, the album put a focus on remixing most of the older tracks from Hybrid Theory,
  • The Release of Meteora

    The Release of Meteora
    Following the band's acclaimed fame for the relase of Hyrbid Theory and the multiple live shows done on their tour (Projekt Revolution), the band began to work on the next album named Meteora. This album was stil a hit, but not like Hybrid Theory. The song featured hits such as Numb, Somewhere I Belong, and Faint.

    The Release of Collision Course
    After Meteora, the band decided to take a break and to postpone working on the next studio album to work on small side projects. Many were bandmates such as Chester Bennington featuring on other albums, but the most major of them all was the release of the remix album with songs from both Linkin Park and Jay-Z.

    The Release of Minutes to Midnights
    After taking a short hiatus, the band began to work on their third studio album. The album was originally planned to release in 2006, but was instead pushed back to 2007. Using this time wisely, five of the original seventeen tracks that would feature were removed.

    The band had decided that the next album would be built off of concepts from Minutes to Midnight, and that they would return to their original feel of nu-metal. Some of the songs off the album, including their first hit for the album, were The Catalyst, Burning In the Skies, and Waiting for the End.

    The Release of Living Things
    For the fifth studio album, the band decided they once again wanted to go to another experimental sound, this time being Techno and a few other genres. The name of this album would be named Living Things, and featured songs such as Burn It Down, Lies, Greed, Misery, Castle of Glass, and Powerless. Powerless was featured as part of the soundtrack of the movie Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and Castle of Glass was featured in the video game Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

    The Release of Recharged
    One year after the release of Living Things, the band had created a single with the artist Steve Aoki named A Light That Never Comes, and announced that they would release a remix album of Living Things. The album featured remixes from artists such as Moneymark Beats, Rick Rubin, and Mike Shinoda. Only one of the songs from Living Things did not get remixed.

    The Release of The Hunting Party
    After experimenting with different genres for two albums, Linkin Park decided they would return to the original nu-metal sound they had originally produced. It was later decided that the album would be named The Hunting Party. Some of the singles off the album are Guilty All the Same, Final Masquerade, Until It's Gone, and Wastelands.
