    Charles Darwin was born on the 12 february 1809, in shrewsbury, England, at Mount house.He was the fifth of six children so he was second to last child. Darwin enjoyed studying biology and geology at school but unfortuanatly back in them days they thought maths and english were more important.

    Later on,Darwin went to cambridge university to become a vicar and he successfuly passed his exams but he realised this was not the thing he wanted to do.The future naturalist, decided to go to Edinbrugh university to be a docter and follow in his fathers' footsteps but he realised the sight of blood made him feel sick and woosy. This was not his passion his real real passion was to be a naturalist as when charles was younger he enjoyed collecting rocks and plants.
  • The galopagus

    On the galopagus, charles discovered some unusual animals such as:igana,blue-footed booby and the sally light footed crab and more. Whilst on board,Darwin wrote a book about evolution but didn't publish it for another 20 years as he thought everyone would laugh because everyone believed that god made everything.

    Voyage around the world

    After graduating from University, Charles was still unsure of how to move forward with his life. However in 1831, Charles was invited to join the HMS Beagle, as the ship's naturalist (studying rocks and plants). Charles accepted the offer and spent the next 5 years visiting the world- travelling to places such as: Montevideo, Sydney, Rio, the Falklands and many more. However, Charles did not find anything of interest for his future studies However, in 1836, he found the Galapagos Islands...

    when Charles Darwin arrived home, after another several months, life started to catch up on him and unfortuanatly in 1882 Darwin passed away from heart faliure.He will be remebered for his great discovery.
