Lillian is Born!!!!
I was born at Spectrum Health Hospital at 10:46 a.m. I weighed 7lbs and 5oz and was the first girl and only daughter. My older brother Keegan was finally not the only kid. -
Parents Divorce
My parents separated around by birth. Their official divorce was finalized at the start of the new year when I was about 2 months old. -
Started Daycare
It is always difficult for a parent to send their child to daycare. My mom sent me to rugrats daycare and it was a good choice because I was always having fun and made friends. -
Walked the Mackinaw Bridge
Me and my family used to walk to Mackinaw Bridge every year. Though the first year we walked the bridge, I stayed in the stroller. When I was finally 2 this was the year that I could finally walk part of it on my own. However, I always ended up in the stroller. -
Dad married my step mom
My dad married my stepmom Amanda when I was 3 years old and we welcomed her to the family. I was the flower girl. -
Connor is born
I finally became a big sister and not just a little sister when I was 4. I was so excited to finally have somebody to help take care of. My little brother was finally born. My dad and stepmom had a kid about a year after their wedding. -
Dance Recital
I loved to dance. When I finally turned 5 I started dance class and had my first recital I was so excited. I like to think I was the star of the show and got so many flowers afterward. -
Lost My First Tooth
Bye bye first tooth. I finally lost my first tooth at 6. When my tooth finally became loose enough to fall out I was so excited to Facetime my mom and show her what happened. I was all smiles. -
Tyler is born
I always wanted a sister. When my stepmom was pregnant again I went to the ultrasound to find the gender, I was so excited. When they said it was a boy I remember being so sad and just staring at my iPod. I was so upset I cried about it not being a sister when we got home. It's funny to think about now because we are best friends now. -
Mom married my step dad
My mom remarried when I was 8. She named me the maid of honor and I was so excited. I remember giving a speech at the reception and when I was asked about if I liked my stepdad Paul I said yes because he buys me candy. I convinced the DJ at the reception to play let it go because it was my mom's favorite song. He thought I was just some little kid trying to play frozen and didn't believe me. When the song came on me and my mom spun around dancing to it. -
New Dog Luna!
I had a dog named Morgan at my mom's and 3 cats at my dad's. I remember one day after church my mom told me that we got a new puppy. I was 9 years old and my aunt had gotten a new dog and they brought it to pick me up from volleyball. A couple of weeks later they realized they couldn't take care of another dog and they gave her to us. I was so happy when my mom told me that I couldn't wait to see her. -
Started Middle School!
I have always been super young for my grade. I started middle school at St. Anthony of a Padua when I was 10. I had gone to that school since preschool and continued till 8th grade. I was so excited because I was finally going to be able to have my own locker and switch classes. I also picked out my own lunch box that said peace love snack time and was bright pink. -
Peter Pan the Musical
When I was 12 years old I got the opportunity to be a pirate and a mermaid in my school musical. I didn't have a speaking part this time but I was so excited to be able to have 2 parts in the play. -
Willy Wonka school Musical
In 6th grade, I got the opportunity to be an oompa loompa in the school Musical Willy Wonka. I was 11 years old and I remember they put blush all over my face and gave me a poofy and itchy wig. I had one speaking part and I was so excited. except one of the showings another oompa loompa stole my speaking part and I was so upset -
Covid Pandemic Lockdown
I was 13 years old and it was towards the end of the 8th grade school year. I remember arguing with my science teacher that we weren't going back to school. He didn't believe me. So when it was announced we were going online I was so excited and it was the easiest school year ever. Though it was hard towards the middle and end not being able to do anything or see family. Covid is still even affecting us now -
Started Highschool
I started my freshman year at West Catholic High School when I was 13. I was so excited to finally be in high school and dress up for the football games. I joined a friend group and we were inseparable. I remember hating the uniforms we had to wear. -
First Job
When I was 14 I got my first Job at Shwalliers Country Basket. It was my first official on-paper job. It was a family business and I worked with my cousin and still to this day every September- end of October I work every weekend. -
Roe v Wade overturned
I was 15 when Roe v. Wade was overturned. I was on the out west trip for my old high school. They are all very religious so they announced it and my heart dropped. I have many different beliefs from other people and when everybody was cheering and clapping me and my friends weren't. I didn't expect it to happen so many people were shocked. -
Started at Byron Center High School
When I was 15 and about to go into my junior year of high school I made the decision to switch schools. My old friends stopped talking to me and turned into awful people and I was only staying at west catholic for them. So I decided for once I was going to do something on my own and I switched schools. I didn't know anybody at Byron Center but I met a lot of amazing people and it was the best decision I have ever made. -
Got my license
I finally turned 16 and was able to drive. A couple of nights before I got my own car so that on the morning of my birthday I could drive to school. I got Starbucks that morning and made it to school driving all by myself and I was so excited. -
Titanic Submarine Sinks
There was a submarine trip that billionaires could buy to go and see the Titanic wreckage. A group of 5 people went down in the submarine that was only controlled by a small controller. They lost connection to the sub a little after it went into the water and many didn't know what happened. It was the talk everywhere and we all were trying to find what happened. What we later found out is a little after the submarine went into the water it blew up and everybody died right away.
