My father has left for Quebec City to participate in the House Of Commons. My mother is recieving few letters from him, and they are very vague. -

My mother recieves a letter from my father explaining that he must stay in Quebec for a year. She grows sad and locks herself in her room. My sister, Beatrice, prepares a delicous supper for me and her. (Potatoes and beef stew) -
