How has this changed the need for social work?
This has changed the need for social work because as people get older they need more assistance. Therefore, they need access to resources that can help make sure they have basic necessities. Social work and workers help educate, advocate, and care for elderly people. They can also help educate families and communities on resources available. Social workers advocate on the elderlies behalf to make sure they are getting everything they need to be safe and taken care of in a good environment.
