  • Concord

    somewhere between 3,00 and 4,000 minutemen were waiting for the British troops were ready and waiting for the british troops to come so they against them. The minutemen were the first shoot at the british. making them fall of death by the dozens. The british soldiers who didn't get caught, marched back to Boston.
  • Lexington

    700 british troops were headed up to concord. But that same day people in the north were told about the troops passing through, the minutemen stood down while the british troops were walking by. The someone shot their firearm and the british troops all fired their firearms killing them all.
  • Bunker Hill

    2,400 british soldier were sent up the hill. A smoke bomb went off, and within that the colonist lost 450 of their men. The british lost 1,000 casualties. On July 8th the congress sent the king an olive branch to the war and to bring back " the former harmony "

    The british soldiers decided to surrender. Saratoga was the most important event that happened during war because the british and colonists signed an alliance for them to fight together.

    Helped Washington in the war by helping draw more french resources to colonial side. Military responsibility was increased on him returning back to battle. He helped pin the british on Yorktown.
