On this day the terrorist organization known as al-Qaeda hijacked 4 passenger airplanes. Two crashed into the twin towers world trade center in New York City. Another crashed into the Pentagon. The last one was retaken by the passengers and crashed in a field, however, it was predicted that it would've crashed into the White House had it not been retaken. 2,996 people died in the attack including over 6,000 casualties. My Uncle lost a best friend that day.
