A bunch of british scientists that were already making an atomic bomb, in the the Americans convinced roosevelt to make an atomic bomb. which also had the worlds first nuclear reactor made by Szilard and Enrico Fermi. The worlds first atomic bomb was detonated in Mexico. -

A total of around 40 million people died in World War II. The Japan empire was just destroyed and the European Empire could never recover. -
Battle of Iwo Jima
The U.S sent bombers that rained bombs down onto Tokyo, but when they got there they didn't have enough fuel so most of the bombs actually missed, so they needed to refuel at somewhere, which somewhere was Iwo Jima, 60 thousand soldiers took over the place and refuel'd all the plains being able to strike for real this time and ready to go. -
Battle Of The Bulge
During the battle between Germany and the U.S. The Germans had their lines of troops bulge out thus reasoning why it was called battle of the bulge. They caught the Americans by surprise but was later saved by General Patton's Troops helping the U.S. push them all back again. -
The Nuremburg Trials
A total of Twenty two German leaders were prosecuted at the Nuremberg Trials. Three were acquitted, 7 were given prison sentences, and 12 were sentenced to death. They were prosecuted because of their War Crimes. -

American troops land on Okinawa because they needed a base even closer to Japan to stock up. The japanese took position in the mountains and The americans had to fight their way up, with over 12 thousand dieing, but after about 2 months they finally captured Okinawa. -
V-E day
With the Americans destroying every line of Defense germany had, Hitler knew he had lost and killed himself. Several days later Germany accepted their defeat and did a unconditional surrender. This day was called V-E day which was for "victory of Europe". -

code name Little boy was dropped On Hiroshima Destroying it with its sheer power, also another bomb, Fat Man, dropping on Nagasaki. This made Japan soon surrender and creating V-J day for Japan's surrender.
