In 1998 the Lego Group beats of the teddy bear and receives the toy of the century award, putting them into the Toy Hall of Fame. -
Lego sells Legoland parks to Merlin Entertainments Group
The Lego Group sells its parks to the Merlin Entertainments Group for $456 Million dollars. -
