Adolf Hitler became the leader of the Nazis Party in 1919. Hitler wanted a stronger country and in 1932 over 6 million Germans had jobs even during the Great Depression. But anyone who opposed the Nazis Party or Hitler was punished. -
Civil War Breaks out in Spain
In 1936 a group of solders led by Francisco Franco rebelled against the Spanish republic. The war caused an effect of not just Spain but the entire world. Throughout the war more than 500,000 people dies but in the end Franco won and became Spain's first fascist dictator in 1939. -
World War 2 Started
Hitler invaded Poland from the west. Two days later France and Britain declared war on Germany thus beginning World War II.
