  • 13th Amendment

    13th Amendment
    The 13th amendment was ratified on December 6 1865. The 13th amendment ended slavery and any involuntary seventy. A few consequences of the 13th amendment was the creation of sharecrop and the poverty of African Americans.
  • 14th Amendment

    14th Amendment
    The 14th amendment was ratified on July 9th 1868. The 14th amendment legalized the African American were U.S citizens. Some consequences of the 14th amendment were that the south had to follow them and they had to bring the military into the south states. A good one was that the African Americans had equal protection that white people had.
  • 15th Amendment

    15th Amendment
    The 15th amendment was ratified on February 3rd 1870. The 15th amendment legalizes the right for African Americans to vote. A good consequence was that African American men were able to vote. A bad one was when southern people started to get violent towards them because they could vote.

    The Ku Klux Klan act was ratified on April 20th of 1871. This act was about how the KKK was outlawed any of the activity's they had done before. Some good consequence were that African Americans and people who supported them where not being assaulted any more buy the KKK.

    The ratification of the crime to interfere with citizens right to vote was April 20th of 1871. This law helped African Americans right to vote because it made it illegal to interfere with a citizens right to vote. some good consequences of this law were that African American men could have more free will to vote and could not be stopped from voting. And if more and more African American men voted that would get me republicans into office.

    The law that stated for all federal elections federal marshals must supervise was ratified on April 20th of 1871. This law was about how for every federal election a federal a marshal must be there to supervise. Some bad consequences for the south was that they has to always be supervised by the military especially for elections.
  • Civil Rights Act Of 1875

    Civil Rights Act Of 1875
    The Civil Right Act Of 1875 was ratified on July 2nd 1875. It ensured the civil liberties of African Americans were protected. A good consequence was that African American men could be in a jury and could not be discriminated agents while they did it.
