    The Birth of a Great Person
    Laura Henderson, a girl, was born on Christmas Eve,1999. She was born to Carrie and Mark Henderson, both teachers. Her older brother, David Henderson, was five at the time and was not all that happy for a while on having a baby sister, but accustomed to it.

    The Start of a New Obsession
    Because her father and her brother were both omputer geeks, it naturally passed onto her. Playing early video games on the Hemderson's dinosaur computer, it kept her attention every day. This is still a favorite past time for her, and is still buying more and more games.

    When Steam, an online gaming community and video game distributor came out, her dad was sure to get her brother and her an account. Picking the name HeLLoKiTTY for her name, that name has stuck for 10 years, even if she does feel girly.
  • Elementary School

    Burk Elementary, the school that her mom taught at as a librarian, was the first school she attended too since she didn't go to preschool. Her first teacher Ms. Shively (now Mrs. Mack) and Mrs. Thorton had a huge impact on her, teaching her how to be creative and be happy. Burk Elementary was Laura's home for a while, since her mom would come early and leave late. When attending Burk she met her BFFL, Lauren Lipinski in kindergarten. They are still currently friends,
  • Another Obsession

    Soccer came into Laura's life after her friend Lauren Lipinski, introduced her to it. Since then, Lauren has ditched her and went to go play volleyball. From here until now, she loves soccer and plays it every week.

    Started collecting movie tickets, and started watching an unhealthly amount of movies a day. This would blosson into a passion and would stick with her for a long time. She is now watching 5 movies a week and is loving it.

    The Becky Rayburn Award
    In 6th grade, the highest award given by the school was awarded to Laura. Becky Rayburn, an old P.E. teacher who was there for her kindergarten through 5th grade years, was absolutely her favorite teacher of the time. The award meant that you tried to make everyone happy and help everyone out.
  • Junior High

    Junior High
    Mesquite Jr. High shaped her into what she is today. At Mesquite, she made a bunch of friends, including now three more of her best friends, Natasa Miloslaveovic, Cassie Clemens, and Gabby Usevitch. There, she was on the soccer team fo both years and for her 8th grade year of playing on the team, she recieved MVP.

    Laura had the chance to take a school trip to President Obama's second inauguration. She went with Lauren and other students from Mesquite High. On the trip, they went to the inauguration, the Smithsonian Museums and all around Washington D.C. She said that this trip was better than the Carribean.

    Her mother, an avid contest-entering maniac on the computer, finally won a trip. Thanks to the weather channel, the whole family went on a Disney Cruise for free in the Caribbean. All the sights and relaxation made it a really good trip.

    In December of 2013, Laura was asked to practice with the GYSA club team, which was a step higher than recreational soccer. After practicing with the team for two nights, she was asked to be on the team and gladly accepted. Since then, she has loved playing on the team and loves everyone on the team including her wonderful coach.

    Imagine Dragons, her favorite band at the time, came to Phoenix. For a birthday present she was given two tickets to Imagine Dragons, one for her and one of her choosing. Originally she picked her dad but he insisted that he picked someone else. Lauren, her best friend went with her instead, and they both had a great time and matching t-shirts.

    Ed Sheeran, a popular britsh boy singer was known by everyone, except Laura. Lauren took Laura to his concert, and fell in love. Being the only one on stage with only a looper, a guitar, and a mic, he blew her away. She bought his ablums as she got home that night.

    The first time she got a concussion from soccer. When going up to head the ball along with the enemy, she collided her head with the opponents head and her elbow, also causing her first bloody nose. By doing this, she broke a ton of cartilidge in her nose and was gone from school for about a day. She is totally fine now.

    Laura and her friend Cassie both went to Disneyland, where they both had a bunch of fun. Despite being there for four days and being bored the last day, they still tried to make the most of it, always cracking eachother up.

    Kodo, a japanese taiko drumming group, was in the Mesa Art Theater. Taken back by a sudden invite from her dad and grandparents, she was a little hesistant on going. But, she caved in and went to the show and enjoyed every minute of it. When she g ot home, she bought their album right away,

    Two improv geniuses from Whose Line Is It Anyway? came to Phoenix on December 5, 2014. Her and her dad both went to this show and could not stop laughing.
