700 British Troops were headed to Concord the next day from when the event happened in Lexington. They found an abandoned arsenal which was a place where weapons were kept. -

Thomas Gage wanted to attack the militiamen. Therefore, the colonists defended themselves and fought the british soldiers back. -

The British went to New York along with 32,000 soldiers to stop the revolution. They did this because they wanted to basically steal New York. -

2,400 men decided to go to Trenton, New Jersey randomly and attacked Hessians. -
Saratoga
General John Burgoyne was encircled by the American troops. It was a surprising big occasion because he didn’t know that his British officers weren’t going to meet up with him. -
Philadelphia
In September, Washington’s army passed by Philadelphia because of the British. The British conquered the American capital.

The British General and his army stayed in Yorktown. Charles Cornwallis wanted to strengthen this place. -
Treaty of Paris
The Delegates wrote in the Treaty of Paris on September. This proved to people that the independence of the United States was good to go.
