  • 13th Amendment

    13th Amendment
    The 13th Amendment was created so that slavery was now illegal. They accomplished this across the United States. This also banned forms of bound labor and servitude.
  • The 14th Amendment

    The 14th Amendment
    The 14th Amendment had made it so everyone could have equal rights. Especially the now-freed slaves. They had accomplished that everyone who was born in the United States was granted citizenship.
  • The 15th Amendment

    The 15th Amendment
    The 15th Amendment granted the right for male African Americans to vote which were then now called "freedoms'. They had accomplished this law so they could have the right to vote. But they did not give African American women the right to vote.
  • The 3 Enforcement Act

    The 3 Enforcement Act
    The 3 Enforcement Act was the act for criminal codes that protected the black's right to vote, hold office, serve on juries, and have equal protection from the law. This was an accomplishment because they could now protect the black Americans and could enforce the 14th and 15th Amendment.
  • The Civil Rights Act

    The Civil Rights Act
    The Civil Rights Act was the end of racial discrimination and segregation in the public. They had accomplished that they would now forbid any discrimination based on your sex or race.
