Landen is an American philosopher, and professor that is know for his book “progress and its problems”. In this book laudan opposed Popper and Kuhns empiricism, and revolutionism. In it holding true to the idea that science is ever changing with that empirical confirmation does not make it the stronger methodology. Stating the observational and theoretical claims do not always change together to make what Kuhn referred to as a revolution. Larry Laudan is a professor the University of Texas Austin School of Law where he teaches law students classes in legal epistemology and still gives lectures in topics of evidence and proof. His works are still used today, and have played a huge contribution in the philosophy of science realm.
