    During the American Revolution, patriot George Washington crosses the Delaware River with 5,400 troopers. They went to attack Trenton, New Jersey, they had to cross The Delaware River.The Hesian's were guarding the gates, 1,400 of them. Some of Washington's troopers failed to cross the Delaware River because of the temperatures. The victory was not particularly significant, and they were not happy about it.

    The battle of Saratoga was a rough time for mostly everyone. The battle of Saratoga was a rebellion. A large army about 10,000 soldiers battled to get victory. Loyalists, native forces and others came to battle. Once in Albany the set up winter quarters, and continued to battle. The battle of Saratoga was harsh many people passed and some were able to live. Some also died of severe weather, and temerature changes.

Jonh Adams, Benjamin Franklin,John Jay, Thomas Jefferson, and Henry Laurens all signed the treaty of paris. The Britain refused to let them go utill they stated their point.
