Joining Cross country team in high school

I join the Cross country team during the summer of the freshmen year of high school (going into 9th grade). This is important because I meet most of my present day friends -

And Katheryn became the first girl I ever felt attraction towards as more then a "friendship" -

I am the 3rd fasted on my team and make varsity for the 3rd year in a row (freshman,sophmore and junior year) -

Everythings great my friendships are strong
Im great friends with Katheryn (yes I know almost two years and still haven't asked her out. calm down)
However i hate running now and love weightlifting -
Quiet distance running

I give up distance running and go to focus on what I love
Lifting heavy weight up and down -
Summer of senior year

Im hanging out with Katheryn a lot
Working out together etc.
Also hanging out with my other friends -
june 3rd 2015 summer

This is perhaps one of the worst days of my life.
Im told by Katheryn that Her and Brandon (my best friend) have been secretly dating for 8 months now and they lied to me and all our other friends the whole time. -
Thinking about life
-Good/bad-
Brandon leaves forever in 10 days (he is one year older then us)
I can't wait.
Katheryn im still great friends with. All is forgiven.
