Mr. Maloney, after he gets home, tells his wife something that my be shocking to her. She gets very upset. -
Mrs. Maloney goes to gather dinner
Mrs. Maloney, finding the strength, gets up to find some lamb of the freezer for dinner. -
The murder
Mrs. Maloney finds her husband upstairs, his back turned to her, with all the anger she had building up inside, she ends up taking the frozen leg of lamb and hits him in the head with it. -
Mrs. Maloney goes to the store
She leaves her husband there, dead, fixes up her hair, and makes her way to the store as if nothing happened. -
Mrs. Maloney comes home
When she gets home, she sees her husband there lying motionless, realizes he really is dead, and breaks down to cry her heart out. -
Mrs. Maloney calls the police
When the police show up , Mrs. Maloney has already put the lamb in the oven, but they start searching the house immediately for the murder weapon. Not knowing the whole story. -
Mrs. Maloney's sneaky plan
Mrs. Maloney tells the police she already started cooking for her husband, and since she couldn't eat a thing under the circumstances, she offers it to them. -
Clues
The police think the weapon is right under their noses, but just can't put their finger on it. -

Knowing that they just ate the evidence, in the other room Mrs. Maloney starts to giggle.
