Second stage of labor
-Crowning- when the top of the head appears at the opening of the birth canal
-Head emerges from birth canal
-Women has the urge to push
-Doctor of midwife provides support to guide the baby out
-The head is followed by the rest of the body -
Third stage of labor
-May feel a few contrations and the urge to push
-They help the placenta, the organ that develops in the mother and helps supply oxygen to the fetus, separate from the uterine wall
