My mother's future husband becomes a Navy SEAL and serves in Desert Storm, in Kuwait. Aka. Gulf War -
Burges Graduate
Emily Rosales, my mother, is the first to graduate from Burges High School in my family. Mr. Bruns was her english teacher. -
A Legend is Born
My mom also joins the military where she meets my dad and gives birth to her first child, me. -
9/11
The attack of the world trade center occurs and my mother almost is deployed to Iraq. Luckily she is simply stationed across Montana to Ft. Bliss. -

My uncle, Angel Rosales III, also joins the military. He joins the Marines and feels compelled to become a firefighter after 9/11. -

My uncle is now a teacher. My aunt is now graduating from law school. My mother now has her masters in nursing.
