    Hitler invaded Poland from September 1,1939 to October 6, 1939. He did this to regain lost territory and ultimately rule Poland. The impact this event had was that it marked the beginning of World War 2.

    On December 7, 1941, Japan sent thousands of planes to crash into Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Japan did this because they wanted to destroy the US Pacific Fleet and weaken the resolve of the American people. The effects of this event were that many Americans died that day and many of the US fleet were destroyed.
