    After a long love-blinded and blissful time, Krysanthe surprises her best friend with shocking news. Though he’d forgotten everything he’d planned since the beginning, Krysanthe had not. Al along she had feared that he would have to leave, like he had said, when the necklace was finished. Deciding that their love is more precious to her than anything else, Krysanthe tells Eras that she will go with him, back to Kalinor. She gives him the necklace.

    Link to flashback Erasmus and Krysanthe meet for the first time - Erasmus attempts to enter Krysanthe's home in an akward misunderstood encounter. Then, the following day, they meet once again at the Market. They make the deal of the malachite case. Later, Krys takes Erasmus to the Underground Forest.

    76th of summer Krys takes Erasmus to the Twin Lakes after a long period of doing nothing, for she has been busy with work. Erasmus is pretty much just a grump, and Krys tries to make it up to him with a picnic, but she gets irritated by his grumpyness and pushes him into the lake, mostly in an attempt to make him laugh. Erasmus mentions Kalinor.
