    A lot of refugees can be integrated in our town Kozani such as around 100 to 200 refugees including families. They can all live in Kozani without problems and have a better life and luck than their native country!

    For the refugees unfortunately are not as mαny jobs as there are refugees so they do not have a lot of options. They can maybe work in factories or as construction workers etc. But, if refugees cooperate with the local people they can built a new bussines to help the economy and provide new job positions!

    Ways our school can help!
    Our school can help refugees by organizing specifically Greek lessons for the children to attend in the weekends to learn the Greek language and incorporate with other kids! Moreover, the local schools could organize a charity to collect old toys,books,clothes and other things that can be useful for the kids such as medicines,blankets and anything else that can be considered as useful! Last but not least, every school can organize sport activities for the refugees and the kids to have fun!

    Refugees can improve the lifestyle of the town's residents as well as they can work to local factories or as employeers in organizations and services to increase the local economy.Furthermore, with the allowance that will be given to them from the goverment,they can invest it to local shops to boost the local economy.Therefore,the local shopkeepers can hire a substantial amount of refugees to work at local shops and provide the town's income.All in all,refugees can offer a lot advantages to town

  • Accommodation!

    Accommodation!
    Refugees in our town, can be housed in abandoned houses, shelters and also tents. The local community, can organise a charity or a fundraiser to raise money for the refugees to built new houses and facilities for them to live. Also, the town's residents can host some of the refugees in their houses to make them feel more comfortable and welcomed!
