Kowloon British School Virtual VisitKowloon Junior School (KJS) used be called Kowloon British School (KBS). It was a school only for english students. KBS is in Nathan road, Tsim Sha Tsui. It is now used as a Antiquities and Monuments Office. -

Changed into a secondary school
In the mid- 1930's it changed into a secondary school, containing about 300 students. The school's name changed to Central British School (CBS). -
Moved to Homantin
Central British School moved to Tin Kwong Road, Homantin. -
World War 2
The school closed down because of war and the students had evacuate. -
Military Hospital
In 1941, the Japanese invaded Hong Kong. The school was used as a military hopital and was taken over by the the Royal Air Force. In the photo , there are POW (Prisoners of War). In the Background you can see a building, which is the school. -
Reopened
The school reopened in 1946. -
King George V school
The school renamed KGV. -

King George V school is still a secondary school with many blocks, such as the science block and art block. There are now around 1800 students in KGV,
