The Japanese invaded and occupied Korea sometime in 1910. Korea at this time was now a "Colony" of Japan. The colony waas ruled originally by military. Eventutally it was ruled by Japanese government. -

Cease-Fire is Signed
The UN, PVA (Peoples Volunteer Army), and the KPA (Korean Peoples Army) all met to agree on an armistice. This also created The Korea Demilitarzed Zone at the 38th parallel. -
Korea is divided at the 38th Parallel by the United States and Soviet Union
The 38th parallel is the border between North and South Korea. This creates the Korean Demilitarized Zone. -
World War II Ends
VE and VJ Day marked the ending of the war. On VE Day Hitler commitied suicide and Germany surrendered. On VJ Day Japan surrendered to the US. -
