    This event caused extreme happiness to Afghanistan because of the wars and fights due to this,"Representatives of the USSR, Afghanistan, the United States, and Pakistan sign an agreement calling for the withdrawal of Soviet forces from Afghanistan. In exchange for an end to the disputed Soviet occupation, the United States agreed to end its arms support for the Afghan anti-Soviet factions, and Afghanistan and Pakistan agreed not to interfere in each other’s affairs(History news).

  • 2009 February - Nato countries pledge to increase military and other commitments in Afghanistan after US announces dispatch of 17,000 extra troops.

    Going forward, Afghanistan has only became worse due to war affairs. The idea to increase military troops is believed to be the most effective action to help these wars that are locally happening.   • 2014 September - The two rivals for the Afghan presidency, Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah, sign a power-sharing agreement, following a two-month audit of disputed election results. Ashraf Ghani is sworn in as president.

    Despite all the contrasts Afghanistan has it believes making peace can help it become a stronger country. As the presidential candidates announce," The two candidates for president of Afghanistan have agreed on a power-sharing deal that will give the losing candidate substantial influence in the next government, initialing the American-brokered deal Saturday night and promising to sign it at a formal ceremony on Sunday"(Rod Roland).
  • 2016 July - US President Barack Obama says 8,400 US troops will remain in Afghanistan into 2017 in light of the "precarious security situation". NATO also agrees to maintain troop numbers

    In other words, Obama wants to help Afghanistan with their issues and offers to help them with advice such as telling them with their troops should be and how many they should have. As Obama states when speaking to Afghan president,"More troops will help Afghanistan come to a successful point"(History News).
