The Famous Gun Powder Plot
guyfawkesThe gun powder plot is very simple. The catholics in England didn't like King Jame because he was very cruel to them. He had ordered for them to leave England. King James daughter, Elizabeth, was a catholic. So the cathloics wanted to kill James and make sure his daughter became Queen of England. Guy Fawkes and 12 others planned to kill James. The set up gunpowder under the parliment and just as he was about to light it, he was caught and arrested. -
