Allied Troops Evacuated from Dunkirk
After an aggressive offensive by the Germans known as Blitzkreig, hundred of thousands of allied troops are surrounded at the port of Dunkirk on the Britsih channel. Hitler instead of keeping the tanks rolling, sends in the Luftwaffe. The Luftwaffe fail to destroy the force and they escaped across the channel back to Britain to fight another day. -

The Germans last shot at victory. A large offensive that created a bulge in the allied line at its deepest 65 miles, and its widest 45. The Allies decisevly defeated the Germans and pushed them back. From this point Germany was fighting a defensive war. -
